The Bon Voyage Club is a VIP system in Sunset Riches where players tier up based on their level experience and purchases. Since the game is meant to harken back to the "Golden Age of Travel", I wanted the branding to feel like a a jacket pin from a flight captain or airline stewardess.
The first popup to the left shows what happens after a user finalizes a purchase. It is a celebratory moment where they accrue VIP points upon receiving their coin package. The second popup shows what happens when a user reaches a new VIP tier. I took part in creating the names for all tiers, designing popup layouts, creating various UI elements, and collaborating with our in house animation team, who animated the popups to the left.
The Daily Trivia feature is an in game mechanic for Sunset Riches intending to drive users back to the game regularly for coin prizes. Since the overall aesthetic of Sunset Riches is intended to be retro, I wanted to make the branding feel like a gameshow from the 60's.
Besides the branding, I also created two popup screens in Photoshop which were brought to life by our animation team.
A collection of design work created for a player engagement promotion for Big Fish Casino. In this marketing campaign, players who engaged with one another socially while playing would be randomly selected to receive prizes. The aesthetic I aspired to achieve was one of cheerfulness and fun, but it also had to be flexible enough so that it could be paired with any of the slot machines' brands.
The pieces shown here are for the Gummy Drop:World tour slot machine, and include the branding, banners, popups, and Facebook ads.
Shoot for the Stars was an engagement promotion for Vegas Party Slots (now Epic Diamond Slots) whereby users were passively awarded "star" currency as they played. The tone of the design was intended to be both luxe and connote stardom or a sense of importance.
The designs presented include branding and a series of in-game marketing banners, popups, and buttons.
I created these logos for the Sunset Riches mobile app. Each logo sits atop a slot machine in the game lobby view. I chose illustrations (created by our in house design team) from each slot machine to incorporate into the branding to provide thematic consistency.
The VIP program for Big Fish Casino and Jackpot Magic Slots rewarded players for purchases and overall member loyalty. While the game already had an established brand, it needed a refresh, but still needed to seem familiar to players. As a result, I took the existing purple and gold color scheme, added cool blues and richer magentas, simplified the logo and introduced subtle, modern elements.
The project involved communicating directly with both product and UX teams daily while directing the design initiative amongst a team of artists. The effort included not only brand creation, but skinning in-game popups, creating extensive supplementary marketing material, and developing a shareable Creative Cloud libraries to streamline processes across departments.
The images to the left include branding, a promotional banner and popup, a persistent feature popup, and finally a before and after illustrating the aesthetic updates.
